At the beginning of the book, The One and Only Ivan, Bob said, "I might be small but I have large teeth!" My Text-to-World connection is in the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua. In this movie Papi says, "We might be small dogs but we can do big things."
Later in the book Stella protected Ruby from getting hit with a broom. My Text-to-Self connection is that my dog, Jag, would protect me if anyone tried to hurt me just like Stella protected Ruby.
I like the part where Stella protects Ruby too! That's because I feel happy about how nice and brave people can be! When you typed that Bob's teeth are big, it reminded me of a dog that bit me once.
ReplyDeleteIf Stella hadn't protected Ruby I would be really mad at her. I would want to watch the movie you talked about because it sounds good and interesting.
