We are reading the One and Only Ivan and I decided to researched elephants and gorillas because they are pat of the book. Elephants are losing their habitat because people are destroying it, there are less elephants everyday because of that. Most elephants eat crops, they are mostly found in the savanna. When an elephant family is all together it is called a herd.
I also researched gorillas because there is a gorilla in the story. There are 4 kinds of gorillas. Gorillas have long arms and these are longer than their legs. They are herbivores. An adult male gorilla is called a "Silver Back."
Now you know more about elephants and gorillas!

I think gorilla's look like people because they have arms, legs and they don't have tails. I would do anything to help the elephants.

ReplyDeleteI like how you told us that a silver back was a male because I really wanted to know that. Also, when you talked about elephants, it reminded me of how I think elephants look funny when they do tricks at the circus.
ReplyDeleteIt is so sad that people are destroying elephants habitats, it is not fair to them!It is kind of funny that gorillas have longer arms than their legs! When they move they move like a frog only bigger!
