I am Word wizard this week and here are some words you might want to remember from the book:
Word: woven
Page/Paragraph: page 141, paragraph 4
Synonym: When something is weaved or made with a needle and thread.
Sentence: His shirt was woven.
Word: Dignity
Page/Paragraph: page 142, paragraph 2
Synonym: Something that respects you or you respect it.
Sentence: We saluted the flag with dignity.
I didn't know what those words meant before you told me. are there more hard words in that part of the book I don't really think I didn't know any other words. Did you not know anymore words?
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that dignity meant that you respect some thing or it respects you. I thought it meant slowly.
