This week I read more of the book called The One And Only Ivan. When Ruby does what Mack says she gets a sugar cube. My Text-To-World connection is... when I do something right I get a reward.
When Mack, the keeper of the Big Top Mall, makes Ruby do something and she does it. My Text-To-World connections is... when Edward Brodas would tell the Slaves to do something they would get it done right away.

I like how you did text to text to Harriet Tubman Ruby was kind of treated like a slave. I also get a treat when I do something good.
ReplyDeleteI have a responsibility chart at home and the more good things I do the more money I get.Ruby getting treated like a slave I don't like to much.It is not fair that people had to be treated like that back in the days.
ReplyDeleteI usually get toys if I earn a reward but sometimes I get candy. I would not like it if I was a slave because then we would have to do whatever the master told us.
