I have some special connections I made in my head while I was reading the book I Survived The Destruction of Pompeii, Ad 79. I would like to share these Awesome connections with you. First, Marcus lost his balance and fell on the hard stone.
My Text-To-Self connection is that it reminded me of when I fell off my bike and got hurt. Later in the story, the people shouted at Marcus when he ran into to see his dad, who was sold to the Gladiators. All of a sudden, the lanista said they will fight against each other or fight against Cyclops, who had one eye. My Text-To-Text connection is that it reminded me about slave books. One called Slaves, talked about how mean the owners were to the slaves. That is all the connections I made. Thanks for reading!
