In the book called I survived The Nazi Invasion, Aunt Hannah had tear in her eyes after Zena, Maz and their papa went to North America. My-text-self was one of my relatives were visiting for 2 days and then they went to their house. We didn't want them to go.

I just finished reading more chapters out of the book The Battle of Gettysburg, 1863. My fist Text- To-Text is that in the book one of my charter say "Yes captain" it reminded me of the movie the penguins from Madagascar when one of the penguins says "Yes Captain" that is my Text-To-Text connection. my other connection is "This is it" it reminded me when my teacher said "This is it" because it is the last test that we took that day.

Fire! Fire!
Hello I am snazzy mesmerizer this week and here is the summary I put together for you.
A woman asked dad if he could help her. He did not know if he had time to or not but, he did not want her to not be cared for so, he told to go get the ambulance. then there was a loud noise. Dad said to Lucas,"Run"! The noise became even louder. Lucas screamed'What is it'! Dad did not answer. He just wanted to get to safety. They found a building. Dad slammed the door shut. Everyone ducked. The tower had collapsed. There was dust everywhere. Everybody walked out of the building. Gorge a football player had died the next day. Uncle Benny did not show up to the funeral. Uncle Benny came to the funeral with a shattered ankle, busted arm, and a collapsed lung. Lucas was happy he was safe but, sad for all the things he had to go through. The next day Lucas and Uncle Benny went to the next football game. Uncle Benny had a cane but, that did not matter. Lucas's team won! Both Lucas and Uncle Benny cheered.

In the middle of the book The battle of Gettysburg, 1863, my characters are practicing and watching people battle. First they had drills because they wanted to do good in there fight because they wanted to win so there was no more slavery. Next, when they where on there way to the fight they where attacked but they fought back and then the other went on. When they where on there way again Thomas remember something and he remembered his sister and he went to the wagon where she was suppose to be and she was not there and then he saw a doll which was his sister and it had blood all over it and then he went and looked for her. Then he saw her and by the help of the north they were able to get her back. I cant wait to read what happens next but I think I now two thing that will happen, it will be exciting and interesting because every page has something exciting and really interesting.

In the beginning of I Survived The Nazi Invasion Max was stuck under a falling tree that was burning. The Nazi soldiers were firing the forest. The flames quickly went out He was stuck under it and he did not get hurt. He was in there for a couple of hours. He got out by digging his way out with a rock but his aunt and sister were gone. Then Max got shot by a pistol from a Nazi and he survived. At the end Zena and Max found there dad. He was taken to the ghetto and nobody knew about him.
I don't know what will happen next!

I just finished reading more chapters out of the book The Battle of Gettysburg, 1863.
One quote from the book I found is ¨It sounds like your being attacked by a pack of wild beasts¨. I found it on page 33 and paragraph 1. I thought this was interesting because that is the Souths mod ow. in my book.
The next quote that I found was She will have you reading in no time. I found it on page 46 and paragraph 2. I picked it because Slaves usually dont get to learn how to read but know that they escape they can learn how to read by someone.

My Text-To-Self connection is that it reminded me of when I fell off my bike and got hurt. Later in the story, the people shouted at Marcus when he ran into to see his dad, who was sold to the Gladiators. All of a sudden, the lanista said they will fight against each other or fight against Cyclops, who had one eye. My Text-To-Text connection is that it reminded me about slave books. I just finished reading some more chapters out of the book The Battle of Gettysburg, 1863. I decided to do some research on war there are so many things about war. War is a state of armed conflict between societies. An absence of war is usually called "peace".
I also did some research on a skunks. Skunks are mammals known for their ability to spray a liquid with a strong odor. They all have warning coloration.

I am reading a new book called I Survived The Sinking of the Titanic 1912. I read the the first three chapters of this book and i decided to research about the sinking of the titanic.
I found out that The titanic was sinking because it hit an iceberg and the people couldn't control it and the pressure on the window it cracked and the water went in and it sank.

Cool connections
I just got done reading a four chapters from the book I survived The Atacks Of September 11, 2001 here are some connections I made.
My first connection I made was there was a plane roaming around New York destroying things. My text-to-self connection was there is a sprayer plane that always goes over my house and it destroys bugs that eat plants and I love to watch it.
My second connection I made was Lucas had to go to football.My text-to-world connection is that my brother goes to football and I have to watch him then later he asks me to play football in our backyard with him.
