Interesting Research

This is a Silverback gorilla.
This is a Silverback gorilla
beating his chest.
We just got done reading more pages from the book "The One And Only Ivan," and it was my turn to be Rock Star Researcher. I wanted to learn more about gorilla behaviors. I learned that a Silverback is more aggressive than other male gorillas. This relates to the book because closer to the middle of the book Ivan said, "There's another Ivan." I also learned that a Silverback gorilla beats his chest if it feels threatened. This relates to the book because Ivan was beating his chest when the guy opened Ivan's domain.

  1. I think that that is cool. I think the best part is the chest beat one. The picture of gorilla is interesting.

  5. When you said you were the rock star researcher, it reminded me of my grandpa. He sang songs in concerts! When you talked about chest beating, it reminded me of my little brother who trys to chest beat like a gorilla.
