In the book The One And Only Ivan the gorilla named Ivan is helping Ruby the elephant go to the zoo. At the zoo Ivan mud painted on a wall. My text-to self connection is that I like to paint on the the concrete floor with mud.

This book reminded me of a text-to-text connection with The Boxcar Children books. In that book the children lived in a boxcar. Their grandfather is looking for them. Their grandfather finds them in good condition. He takes them to his house and he is happy that they live there.

I think that the first on would be kind of fun. I never really did that but I think it would be fun. I have never read that book yet but I think it would be a fun book to read.
ReplyDeleteI think that painting on concrete would be fun. Those's books would be fun and this book kind of does sould like that one.
